EADS confirms its top scores in France, Germany and Spain EADS ranked N° 1 by French engineering students France: Randstad award ranks Eurocopter N° 1 and Airbus N° 2 employers Germany and Spain: Randstad award ranks EADS N° 2 Paris/Munich, 13 April 2012 – EADS and its divisions Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian and Eurocopter have once again been recognized as top employers and have won several awards acknowledging their efforts in the field of HR policies. EADS is seen as an employer of choice by the working population all over Europe. EADS, and in particular Airbus and Eurocopter, often made it to the top 3 companies for which European employees would like to work. “Facing both EADS ambitious growth plans and the increasing scarcity of qualified applicants, we attach the greatest importance to attracting young talents and highly qualified employees. Thus, we are very proud of these rankings which confirm our excellent image as top employer across Europe,” says Kerrie-Ann Stein-Goujon, EADS Employment Marketing Network Coordinator. “These awards prove we are on the right track in permanently fostering the attractiveness of EADS – which will be an important asset for our plans to recruit 5,000 new permanent employees in Europe this year.” Attracting young engineers, EADS was recently ranked N° 1 by French engineering students in both, the Trendence and the UNIVERSUM graduate surveys – two leading European employer surveys. The Universum Awards surveys 400,000 students and professionals to show what attracts graduates for their career and choice of organizations. For the 8th time in a row, EADS could confirm and even strengthen its position as the most attractive employer for engineers in France. This is an encouraging result for the company, which aims at hiring 5,000 new permanent employees in Europe this year, thereof roughly about 2,000 in each, France and Germany. EADS also attracts experienced professionals. In the Randstad awards last month, EADS and its divisions Airbus and Eurocopter have been among the top 3 in several countries: in Germany, EADS was ranked N° 2 after the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and ahead of BMW. In France, Eurocopter was ranked N° 1 and Airbus N° 2, ahead of EDF and in Spain, EADS was ranked N° 2. Randstad is an international company offering temporary staffing and HR services.
